My name’s Linda, and I’m partner to Chris and mother to four year old Elliott and 1 year old Isobel. We live in Melbourne, Australia. I find it hard to believe I’m a “grown-up”, let alone a mother, sometimes. I spend my days at home, raising the children and trying to rid the house of dirt and clutter, as well as make time for the fun stuff, like cooking, crafting, music and now, blogging, all while trying to reduce my negative and increase my positive, impact on the planet.
I discovered the world of blogging and in particular, craft blogs, late in 2006 when I was sitting around waiting for Isobel to be born. I shouldn’t have been sitting around, I know. I should have been decluttering of exercising or something. But I’m a procrastinator, so those things had to wait. Anyway, quite surprisingly to me, I became addicted. I’ve enjoyed reading these blogs so much and have been so inspired that I am now obsessed with making things. Including a blog of my own.
This blog is a record of what my family and I do from day to day: what we make, where we go, who we see. It is a record of the fruits of my labour. Thanks for visiting!
